Personality:
There is something special and heart warming about a child's innocence. The way they view the world like a massive playground full of endless knowledge and possibilities, full of magic and purity. That is how little Alice views the world. There are many things that she doesn't comprehend, yet the little energetic child is always keen to learn something new. To explore the world around her and go on adventures where reality and imagination often cross over.
Despite having faced many troubles in her young life already, having been 'abandoned' by her father and going through months in hospital having operations on her heart, it has not deterred her positive outlook on life. She loves to smile and make others happy, especially her mother and aunties. Although innocence and ignorance tend to go hand in hand, the young girl believes that things will always get better and that the Disney movies she watches reflect the world better than adult seem to believe.
Being a very energetic child, she often beams with confidence, easily making friends or finding ways to entertain herself when she's alone. She loves to imagine magical worlds and can be often found talking to herself or her toys, going on adventures that the boring adults can't understand.
Although Alice is often scared or frightened, the young child has started to bottle these feelings away, not being able to stand the look on her mother's face. The doctors told her that she would have to be brave in order to get better, so she tries to hide the negative emotions from the world.

Physical Description:
Alice stands at a rather short height for her age of only 2'9 which is approximately 90cm in height, however her mother promises that she won't always be short. The young girl inherited her parents' pale complexion, decorated with her mother's greenish-hazel eyes and her father's brunette hair that she insists on growing out. By now, her hair reaches the middle of her back, but she wants it to grow longer like Rapunzel.
Alice has no piercings, however she sometimes wears 'clip on's' whenever she plays dress up with her mum and aunties. She prides herself in having avoided getting any major scars from being clumsy and falling over and scraping her knee. The only visible scar she has that will stay with her over the years is the large scar over her chest where she had operations on her heart. The doctors have thus far carried out three major operations all causing the scar on her chest to get bigger, however unless she's wearing shirts that have a larger decollete, the scar remains hidden.
Unique Skills and Abilities:
Every child is gifted with an imagination that adults have long forgotten they possess. Some, however, much like Ali have a much wilder imagination than most. There have been times when Evelyn worried about the child's mental state and visited doctors regarding her overly realistic reaction to Ali's invisible friends, however the doctors simply assured the mother that Ali has a very wild and promising imagination, and her creativity and ability to think outside the box will aid her further in life.
The worst of Alice's abilities, in her mother's eye, is a small sport that the child's aunt foolishly promoted. After watching the Disney movie 'Brave' Ali desperately wanted to try archery. Evelyn was against the idea, but her aunties took her for a try promising that the child was safe. And with a proper instructor and one on one sessions, Ali was indeed safe. And what more, they found that the child had a given skill for archery - or so the instructors say. She can handle a bow quite well and has surprisingly good aim for someone her age. It took some convincing, and a hint of playful blackmail and pleading, but eventually Evelyn agreed to allow Ali to continue going to the archery lessons, having seen how much the child loves the sport - but she was not allowed her own bow until she was at least in her 'teen' years.
Strengths and Weaknesses:
+ Energetic
+ Playful
+ Kind
+ Loving
+ Innocent
+ Creative
+ Loves to learn
- Easily manipulated
- Easily frightened
- Somewhat of a broken family
- Has a defective heart
Weapons:
The only 'weapon' that she has wielded was a bow and arrow in a training field.
Background History:
Alice Hale is the only daughter of a young married couple, Evelyn and Ian Hale. Eve fell pregnant when she was only 21, however the couple believed they were ready for the child. But Ian's fears of being a father lead him to develop a Coke addiction. Evelyn tried to be at home as much as she could, but having the job she did, as soon as maternal leave wore off she was forced to return to work at full time. Ian was much the same, however his addiction got the better of him and he often needed a fix more frequently to keep him calm. The angry side of her father frightened Alice and she often found herself crying whenever one of his 'itches' would come on, which only made him thirst for the drug more. Or so it seemed. When Alice was three years old, Evelyn gave Ian an ultimatum. His addiction, or his family. As far as the women know, he chose his addiction - after stripping them of their savings.
Broke, devastated and unable to function properly, Eve and Alice moved in with Eve's sisters. It took months for Evelyn to pick herself up, during which time Aunty Ads (Adeline) looked after Ali. It was during that year that they began to notice that Ali was in a lot of pain and would often lose consciousness, get dizzy and sick or complain about her eyesight and numb fingers. After about a year of going around doctors seeking the reason behind the young child's condition, they finally found that Alice has a defective heart. She was 4 years old when Ali was taken in for her first heart operation, during witch they attempted to fix one of the heart valves that kept collapsing. Eve was warned at the time that this may be a reoccurring problem and that the child would have to remain under regular observation of the doctors. She was forced to stay in the hospital for a month after the operation, and for the first year after the operation she had to return to the hospital once a month for a few day stay, the length depending on her condition. Things were looking up around the 12 month mark after the operation and the doctors decided to stop seeing the child at regular intervals. That may have been a bad decision, because when the child was 5.5 years old she had to return to the operation room because the other heart valve was defective. She was kept under close observation, seeing the doctor once or twice a week for the first 6 months, however the condition didn't seem to improve, and not even half a year later, Alice was taken to her thirst and hopefully final heart surgery.
But even the trauma of the surgeries and living under a constant care of the doctors hadn't diminished the girl's positive outlook on life nor quenched the bubbly cheerfulness that clings to her personality. Now that she's six years old, Ali has started to go to first class of elementary school during the day and goes to archery practice a few times a week after school.
