full name James Frederick Carter
alias: Just James or Carter
personal creed: Don’t let the anger control you, you need to control it and can make something beautiful.
gender: Male
age: 33
orientation: Bi with no preference at all.
relationship status: Single. Doesn’t have an eye out for a relationship, but wouldn’t say no to a fling.
family status: Father and sister alive, mother deceased.
is the character in a gang/law enforcement agency/ citizen: Gang
state your industry and occupation: Works as a fighter and sometimes earns a little extra money playing the violin. Is a private killer to the rich and discrete clients.
personality:
Outwardly he’s a very arrogant, cheeky man with little respect for others bubble of privacy. He thinks that the world really ought to be revolving around him. James is a very vain person and isn’t afraid to admit to it, not bothering to hide his very ‘flawed’ personality. While he might stay like this if you don’t do anything to bother him, but chances are that you will annoy him. His mood can switch at the simplest of sideways glances. He’ll shrug off the flirty cloak and pull out a cold, sharp tongued personality that won’t rest until the offense gets smoothed over with lots of sweet talking. His moods might change so easily to the worse because he simply likes arguing. He likes yelling at people, snapping at them and ridding the bottled up anger, even if the anger might not be directed at the poor, yelled at person. But once the yelling is over he won’t have anyone mention the outburst again, preferring to bury and forget that it had ever happened. Something that he’s very good at.

physical description:
James stands at a good 6’2 feet and weighs in at around 90 kg of muscles. It’s quite obvious that his bulk isn’t from natural labor, but instead had taken lots of time at the gym and doing various sports. He’s got face full of hard lines and edges and thanks to his constant frown a few little wrinkles around his grey eyes. Any mention of said wrinkles will result in a vicious verbal lashing. He keeps his brown hair in an uncomplicated cut that tends to be a bit too long for his liking since he gets lazy about going to get his hair cut. He currently has a rather pale skin, though while he gets a sunburn easily, he just as easily gets a tan so he’s expecting to become a color other than “ghost” rather quickly. There’s the tattoo of a rose on his right shoulder. His body is covered by various scars though none are prominent or disfiguring.
unique skills and abilities:
James has the ability to plan ahead, which not only makes him an excellent chess player. On top of that he’s got the ability to keep a cool head in a messy situation, keeping an eye over everything and then barking out commands, though he is by no means a leader type of person. He plays the violin very well, using it as an outlet for his pent up emotions.
strengths and weaknesses:
+Planning ahead and taking little details into consideration
+Strong and ruthless
+Very focused
+A good liar
+Sports where he doesn’t need to be a team player
-His family
-Too focused on revenge
-Too emotionally detached
-Can’t swim
-Enjoys flirting a little too much
weapons: Prefers using his own fists or small, hand held guns.
background history:
Thomas Carter was a local to Hawaii, a quiet member of the Ohana Lahui that never really stood out anywhere, he wasn’t exactly a high position either, no one of importance. He met Samantha Portman, a tourist who was spending a month in Hawaii on her first day of vacation and the two of them clicked instantly. After four weeks of spending time together, it was time for the pretty female to leave again, leaving behind a heart broken man.
All the more surprising when she came back two months later – pregnant. The two immediately married and from that day on didn’t regret a thing.
To keep his family protected, Thomas got more involved in the gang, slowly but surely working his way up the ranks as first his son was born and five years later his daughter. The family was happy and his wife had no problem with the occasional drug deals or whatever else that he was involved in, as long as she or the kids didn’t hear any details.
James and Norah grew up living normally, being kept relatively out of the way of the whole gang deal, each loving their life in an individual way.
Where James had his small group of friends who were close knit and kept together through everything, acting a little like a group of loners, his little sister was a social butterfly, surrounding herself with as many friends as possible, no matter how fake. They both did decent in school, James making his parents proud by signing up when he turned twenty.
Norah quit school with 18, much to the horror of her parents and tried her hand at becoming a singer, singing in various bars and clubs and loving her life.
Shortly after Norah’s 18th birthday, the Carter’s neighbors reported them to the police and after a thorough search, they found enough evidence to prove that Thomas was indeed in the Ohana Lahui and involved in various crimes.
To soften the sentence, Thomas agreed to bug the leader’s main office, knowing full well the risks and the consequences of his actions, should he be caught. And luck had it, that he did get caught, he got red handed with his hand in the cookie jar, so to say.
The gang reacted viciously and swiftly, beating him up and leaving him in a unconscious, bleeding pile on the sidewalk, barely clinging to the right side of life and death. A good friend of the family did them the favor of delivering his body to them and their mother took control without a second of hesitation. The police promised them a witness protection program as she waited in the hospital with her children as surgery after surgery was performed, leaving the man in a coma.
Once he woke up it was clear that life wouldn’t be returning to normal again, his memory totally broken, his short term memory ruined and he’s unable to speak anymore, paralyzed from the waist down to top it off.
As soon as he stabilized Samantha took her two children and her husband, moving them to the Antarctic, not trusting the police and certainly not the gang. And that was one place she was certain that no one would search for them anymore.
Putting their father in a special home, the family settled down to live the next ten years of their live in the coldness and the snow.
Being adults, neither James nor Norah were thrilled but they understood that they needed to stick down low for a while. James was eaten up by the idea of revenge, one name burned into his mind “Akoni”. And with his sister he hatched up a plan, a plan to bring down the new gang leader and everyone around him, slowly and painfully.
Ten years later their mother died in a car accident and the siblings used that moment to take their father and move back to Hawaii, ready to destroy some lives.
