is the character in a gang/law enforcement agency/ citizen:
Law Enforcement
state your industry and occupation:
Undercover Ops
personality:
Della has learned to compartmentalize her life. Professionally, she is known to have a kind heart, willing to help anyone who needed it. She always seems to know the right thing to say when someone is feeling down on their luck. She is extremely intelligent, since she spent every free moment studying anything and everything that she could get her hands on. Though she has plenty of talent when it comes to being able to learn new languages, musical talent eludes her.
When it comes to her personal life, she keeps herself closed off. Her family knows her to have a fiery personality, always speaking what is on her mind. Della has a somewhat classic look when it comes to marriage, believing that both parties should stay committed to each other until death do they part. With most other things, she tries to keep her mind open. What she cannot tolerate are hypocritical types. For this exact reason, she is estranged from her father.

background history:
[This must be a MINIMUM OF 10 LINES in length, after posting! Please try and make this an interesting read with information that includes how your character came to the city of Hawaii, etc; it is important to make your history relate to the cult. For example, I really donâ€t want to read about something that pertains to the medieval times, when in fact we're in modern times. Also, please try keep the history as realistic as possible, in other words, do not indicate that your character is originally from a place where vampires roamed the street, because, well we know real vampires don't exist, etc. Basically, take this as a current daily life view, in a sense?]
Adaline was born on a beautifully snowy winter morning. Growing up, she was the youngest of four children and they all led a very comfortable life. Her family was not extremely wealthy, but they were able to provide their children with everything that they needed and a little bit more as well. She and all of her siblings were able to go to college, though each chose to go to school in different parts of the country. Della was the only one who stayed relatively close, choosing to study at the University of Mary Hardin–Baylor in Belton, Texas. She was attempting to get her criminal justice degree before she decided upon whether or not to join the police academy.
While attending, she met her future husband at a study group. Franklin was the eldest brother of one of her fellow classmates and had come into town while on a short leave from the Navy. After a courtship that lasted for roughly 3 years, due to him only being able to see her on his leaves as well as her wishing to complete her schooling, they married in the April of the year after her graduation. The newlyweds moved north to Minnesota. Della immediately enrolled in the police academy, and was quickly promoted through the ranks, making it into the special ops division, mostly working undercover cases. However, their happiness was short lived. Della was only about 5 months pregnant when there was a knock on the door. Franklin had been killed during a routine mission. Had the C.O. not caught her, she would have crumpled to the floor. They gave her a few days to come to terms with his loss (which honestly was just the time that it took for them to complete the autopsy on his body and prepare him to be sent back home in order to have his funeral). Adaline's mother-in-law was the one who actually made the final arrangements. Everyone looked to Della with pity when they presented her with the flag that was draped on her now dead husband's coffin. Not only was she now a widow, but she was going to be a single mother as well.
It was shortly after the funeral that Adaline decided to pack up her belongings and begin her life fresh from all of the pitying stares. She moved out to Hawaii, the farthest place that she could think of, well away from anyone that she could possibly know. Thanks to her husband's will and her family money, she was able to live fairly comfortable and take care of her twins while she established enough roots in the area to know who she could trust with the safety of her children as she waited to find out if any of her job applications would take.
