personality:
Lucas was raised in a very DIY household in the fact that if you wanted something done, you had to do it yourself. If you wanted money, you had to work for it. If you wanted strength, work for it. If you wanted fame, work for it. Lucas' work ethic is out of this world and nowadays, his police badge is what he has to show for it. He's a hard-worker, determined and stubborn to get what he wants and where he wants to be. Lucas was also raised to have a heart of gold; caring, loving, giving to all of those around him. This makes him the best hometown policeman he can be. He cares about anyone and everyone, despite what they've done to end up in his care or in his view. As a child, Lucas had some pent up anger issues that came from his lack of a solid childhood that he used through boxing. The occasional day in the gym is enough to center him again and keep his anger at bay. But if it builds up for too long, he could explode on whoever is pissing him off. Because of his parent's constant pressure to be better than them, Lucas has a fierce need to prove himself to those around him. He refuses to accept defeat or any kind of weakness, making him kind of obsessed with winning sometimes. Though he's normally a kind and smiling man, his line of work can throw him into funks and he would love someone who brightens up his world and takes him away from that negativity.

background history:
Lucas was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in April of 1991. His mother was a young woman, of only twenty while his father was almost thirty years old. This wasn't uncommon in his home country, but it did serve to have a very uneven household dynamic. His father was always large and in charge, reigning over Lucas and his mother with an iron fist and no handouts for either of them, ever. His father was a loud drunk who loved to sleep around with other women and because of his attitude toward his mother, Lucas always strived to be the polar opposite of him in every way he could manage to be. Lucas was always a kind and loving boy, especially to his mother and other family members, often helping his mother around the home and neighborhood to help bring home money to her. But the one bad trait that his father brought out was his anger. He would often attempt to start fights with the older man, one such fight almost landed him in the hospital. When he was sixteen, he enrolled in a local gym to help his boxing abilities so one day he could beat his father out of his own home to give his mother some peace. But he got so good that instead of killing his father, he just earned money through underground fighting. One day he earned enough to buy his mother her own place and get her away from that awful man.
Lucas didn't stop fighting though. He got greedy, He loved the money and power it gave him. To be one of the best boxers in Argentina. He kept fighting, kept winning, kept earning. That was until one of his rings got busted and he was taken away in handcuffs for illegal street fighting. While spending the night in jail though, he found that this wasn't the life he wanted to lead. The police officers talked to him and encouraged him to change his life around. He decided to enroll in the police academy in Argentina and help his mother move away. Once she was secured within a home near her family, hidden from his father, He left the country in search of a better life for himself. So he moved to Honolulu, Hawaii, USA; in search of his forever home.
